Spring Flower Happy Hour

How this event works: Join us for a spring evening in the great outdoors.  We will harvest a variety of gorgeous seasonal flowers & foliage from the farm on the day of the event.  You can stop by any time from 4pm to 7pm, purchase a vase (or a few!), and get to designing your own masterpiece to take home.  You're welcome to hang out for the whole time or stay for just a few minutes to grab some beautiful blooms.  Please note that this event is not a design class, but rather an open studio session.  A ticket is required for admission so we can estimate how many vases and stems we need to have prepared in advance.  

What is included: We will have an assortment of vases in a range of budgets, plus some complementary floral supplies like rubberbands and armatures to get you started.  Simply pick a vase and stuff it as full as you would like with stems; whatever you can squeeze into your vase is included in the cost!  This is a way for us to invite our customers to the farm in a casual way while also offering our premium blooms at wholesale prices.  We will have a table set up for you to spread out your materials and design.  Victoria will be available for guidance, or you can get creative in your own way.  This open studio session will not include any direct instruction.

Payment: Payment is not required until you choose your vase at the event.  The price of each vase includes the cost of flowers and NYS sales tax.  We currently accept cash and Venmo.

Inclement Weather: This is an outdoor event.  In the case of rain, we will contact all ticketholders to schedule a rain date.  

Liability Waiver: However unlikely it may be to experience an injury or loss of any kind while you visit us, we are nonetheless required to publish the following liability statement: By reserving a ticket to this event, you are agreeing to visit and/or participate in activities at Ley Creek Farm.  You acknowledge that you are attending an event at a working farm and as such you do so at your own risk.  In exchange for being permitted to visit and/or participate in activities at this working farm, you hereby release and waive Ley Creek Farm, Victoria Jabot, or any entities affiliated with them from liability for any and all loss, damage, injuries, claims, demands, lawsuits, expenses, and any other liability of any kind to yourself or any other person, directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with your visit or participation in any activity.  You further agree to hold harmless, indemnify, and reimburse the released parties from and for any sums, costs, or expenses incurred by any of the released parties or paid by them to any person (including you or your insurers) in connection with any accident, loss, damage, or injury sustained by yourself or others in connection with your attendance at or participation in the above described activities.  This means that you will reimburse the released parties if anyone makes a claim against them based on damages or injuries you may suffer.
